As licensed and accredited nursing centers, Avanté employs Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants.

Avanté's hi-tech medical division offers alternatives to lengthy acute care stays for the medically complex patient. The uniqueness of this plan is the combination of acute care with a home-like environment.

Avanté's staff works together as a team, coordinating efforts through patient care conferences with the resident and family members.
Integrated Rehabilitation Programs
It is a proven fact that patients improve faster and more effectively with skilled therapy intervention. The Avanté Rehabilitation Program focuses on residents with multiple physical and emotional needs. The Program includes physical, speech and occupational therapy provided by the most qualified and accredited personnel in the profession. Treatment plans are designed around each resident's individual needs and aimed at increasing their highest practicable level of function and quality of life..
Nutritional Care
Meals are prepared fresh daily by Avanté's on-site dietary department. Meals are presented in an appetizing manner and are scheduled and supervised by a Registered Dietitian. Special diets are also available.
Caring Environment
We accommodate for both short and long-term stays, depending on our patients' needs. We strive to make our facilities feel as much like a home as possible. All of our facilities are equipped with computers and Internet access for our resident to enjoy at their leisure.
Recreation Programs
Each of Avanté's nursing centers offers a unique approach to social and recreational activities. This includes a variety of daily activities that promote social and physical interaction, communication and fond memories. In addition, Avanté provides residents with transportation on outings, shopping trips and other community activities planned on a monthly basis.
Social Services
The Social Services Department at Avanté offers each resident the option to discuss and develop solutions to meet personal needs. Avanté's professional counseling services foster resident independence, dignity and personal fulfillment. Monthly Resident Council meetings afford the opportunity for self-expression regarding the day-to-day happenings in their home.
Home Care Support
Avanté's staff will provide discharge planning and will coordinate home care, when applicable. Before residents return home, we provide them with home-safety assessments in which an Avanté therapist visits their home. This enables the resident and family members to see firsthand how the resident will function in their home environment, allowing them to make the necessary adjustments for a smoother transition back into the home.
Community Service
In addition to providing short- and long-term care for the community it serves, Avanté is also committed to improving the community as a whole. Avanté manages blood drives, hosts health fairs, sponsors local families during the holidays, and we participate in local sports leagues. |
